Has anyone else noticed the amount of witchcraft shows lately?

Especially one channel it seems has a high percentage of witchcraft based shows, whether movies or sitcoms.. Most of the sitcoms, if not all, are for 'kids'. Don't get me wrong, I used to enjoy "Bewitched" as a kid.. And I do think there is some wisdom in indiginous and nature beliefs.. but I'm not in favor of all this spellcasting in children's shows.. Isn't wicca a religion? Do you think tomorrow's citizens are being shaped by this? Even intentionally?

It's fantasy, just like Bewitched and I Dream of Jeannie and Batman and Transformers and Telly Tubbies. Won't be much entertainment on tv if you take away sci-fi and fantasy.
Am I understanding you correctly that you think there is an intentional Wiccan conspiracy in the television industry? I hope you're kidding. I've never seen any of those shows promoting a religion. There is enough bigotry and religious persecution in the world don't you think?
Just FYI, not all witches are Wiccans.

...most conspiracies I believe are carried on by spirits not humans..
Altho I suppose some conspiracies do involve some or a few humans.. Agenda could be another word to use in most cases rather than conspiracy.

I personally don't believe in spirits. I believe people should take responsibility for their own actions instead of chalking it up to something supernatural. It's too easy of a cop-out to say "the devil made me do it" and used entirely too often.

I don't think everything done on planet earth, by all of us is inspired (or conspired) by spirits, but I do think a lot of major (and even some not so major) things are.. I believe one third of angels "fell" and have always been quite busy on planet earth. Thanks for the good dialogue, Craftcatcher..

Quite the coincidence, just now I heard my granddaughter and her friend playing something which involved a spell.. "you can't break the spell" etc..
On the shows, they usually get in tons of trouble resulting from a spell.. That's the silver lining.. I don't get twisted out of shape over these things, but observing them can't hurt..

I think some of the shows are to get ppl to not associate witchcraft with devil worship. Alot of ppl hear the word witch or witchcraft and the first thoughts they have are devil worship, sacrifices and stuff like that. I also loved watching Bewitched and still like to watch Charmed.
