Today is the day my son will stop using a bottle. Yep I've decided. So far we have had two sippy cups full of formula but NO BOTTLES. My son of course is not very happy about the lack of his bottle but he is taking it better than expected. I was just wondering if there was any tips for experienced mothers. I'd love your advice... share away.

congratulations to your son. he did a great job. i had a hard time with my daughter when it comes to her feeding bottle. she cant sleep without it. she wouldn't even drink all on her sippy cup til a kid her age laughed at her. she stopped using the bottle since then

The first day did go well, but my son started coming down with something the next day. He was so sick with a fever of 103 so I gave him the bottle... it was all he would take. Now the fever is going on to day 3. Sadly he wont take anything now, and even if he did he would throw it up. I'm really scared... Now the bottle is the last priority. I guess if your daughter could wait so can my son.

He is actually 16 months. The doctor suggested we continue with formula because he may be lactose intolerant... so we are continuing to fork out the big bucks for lactose free formula.
