Question about the rules...

I am curious about something? I know it's against the rules to start a discussion with a joke or recipe. However, can you post one as a response to someone's question? I have seen a few myLotters do this today and was wondering if this was against the rules? Thanks for the help.

You are not allowed to start a discussion with a recipe but there are times when persons does asked in the health/food interest how does one make like banana ice cream and someone does know how to so they give the answer. You see I don't think MYLOT is as hard as one think but if you are like abusing another member of the community your post will be deleted. You can make joke in a way were one knows that you are being funnier. If it comes across as being blunt and hurtful it is up to you to explain yourself. Welcome to MYLOT and hope you will enjoy yourself here.

You can post a recipe in response to a discussion. You just cannot start a discussion with a recipe. I post recipes in response to people asking for them all the time. I have never had an issue with it.
