Well my one of my last post was about my husband's lack of romance. Well here's another tidbit of our life that I'm having trouble figuring out. Let me tell you a bit about me: I was always one of the guys. I was into video games, rock music, sports, tough (for a girl) and I could appreciate a good looking girl - but I'm also nurtiring. I'm sensitive, emotional, I's romanitc. I like lip gloss, I like to look pretty(or try to at least), get pms and I scream when I see a rat. I try to keep a good balance of the two and that's pretty much me. Random conversation with my husband I had mentioned my favorite Peanuts character is Linus because he has his favorite blanket and I have mine. My husband cleverly says I thought it was "Peppermint Patty cause she's butchy,". What? Am I "butchy" and didn't know it?! I was kind of offended by this. But whatever ... guys - do you like a balanced girl? You know the kind of girl that would play two hand touch in a prom dress? Or do you like girly girls? Girls - are you like me - and feel comfortable? Or are you the opposite end of the spectrum and think I'm in the minority.

I think your husband is a fool, you're not butchy, and probably every guy secretly wants a gf or wife who can hang out with him and do FUN things as opposed to the usual dinner-and-movies that plague today's courting society. I mean, my girlfriend is a lot like that, or at least she puts up with my when i triangle choke her when we play wrestle ^.^ and i love her for it. I think more girls should try and be balanced because it is EXPECTED of a guy to be...like how much crap we get if we don't share our "feelings" all the time. Hope this was a welcome addition to the topic

That's awesome - i think it's good to have a balance. I use to wrestle (my guy friends when I was younger) and watch wrestle years ago - I've tried wrestling with my husband be he's like 300+ lbs.. he hurts. But I'm glad I'm not in the minortiy. Thanks for responding!

I like a little bit of both. I don't know about the 2 hand touch in the prom dress..lol..But I think it's cool for a woman to follow and/or play sports and still be a lady at the same time. The butchy type, well those are just straight up lesbians. I started gambling my ittle 10 dollars a week on football because me friend was into it. We were out to eat one day, and she was explaining to me the whole point spreads, and what games she needed to win some money. I new about football before, but the way she was talking, I felt like I was being schooled by a female on sports. Plus the fact that she won all her games the following day which won her some money. My cousin had a softball game at his job once. Workers vs management. He's not the most athletic, but when we were on the side warming up, he told me I was throwing the ball to him too hard. I started warming up with this girl that he worked with and she threw harder than him! I said to him " why the hell can't you throw the ball and catch like she can". It was actually a turn on for me that she was athletic, but still very lady like.
