Are you more of a learner or a teacher?

I am a teacher by profession but i am also a learner. Where practical things are concerned I am more of a teacher but where new technology is concerned i am more of a learner. I have lots of things to learn yet in this computer age. I am still learning a lot about computers. I think I am more of a learner in this stage we are in. This new technology in computer is making me very confused and I have many more things to learn..

I am both, realistically. Just like you I am a teacher but as I have been teaching, I also learn a lot, lot of things along the way. It amazes me and I am so happy to have learned these things sometimes from my students, from co-workers, from people around me, or even from the environment.

I am a terrible teacher. I often find myself in situations where I need to teach and I always end up getting impatient and just doing it myself. Or if it's not something where I can just take over and do it myself, I get frustrated and snappy. I am a much better learner. Three-year-olds go through a stage where they ask "Why?" in response to everything. I never really grew out of that. I am a big fan of the word Why.

i think i am more of a learner because i like to learn new and different things. but i am also writing how-to articles in ehow.com to teach others to do stuff better. so if you have an ideas for me to write step by step how to, comment here.

I used to be more of a learner when I was in college and then I started working there and, while I wasn't an instructer, my department was responsible for the computer labs, so I became more of a teacher. Now that I've moved and left the college I find myself working with a bunch of people who know little to nothing about the computers they use daily so I end up helping them with this thing or that on a regular basis.

I would say I am a learner. Everyone will always be a learner no matter how he mastered a certain craft. Now, even a master can be a learner for the master has certain things which he has not learned. On things which I have already knowledge of, I would say I am more of a teacher. I really like it when I am imparting my knowledge to others. I believe that the appreciation of knowledge will be completed once the learner will be willing to impart the knowledge he has learned.

I'm also a student and I love taking new knowledge in. But I hate speeches and stuff so I guess I'm not the teacher type...

I think I am both. I love to learn new things, but then I also enjoy teaching others what I know. I am considering becoming a teacher if I don't make it into vet school. That's one of my back up plans.

I am a learner in everything around me - life, work, skills, etc. But I'm a teacher if there's a need for me to teach the others what I know. I always share my insights in my blog - related to job and career and about life in general. I think that's one way I can contribute to the community. :)

I am a student so I guess that makes me a learner. lol. I do enjoy learning a lot and have a general policy to talk less and listen more whenever I am in the presence of somebody who knows more than me. Despite the fact that I feel that I have a lot to learn, I do enjoy teaching too. It makes me understand whatever I am trying to teach better. so I guess I'm still learning.
