We celebrate christmas here. On christmas Eve we have friends over for lunch and gift exchange and on Christmas day we have my family over for breakfast and gift exchange and later that day we have my husbands family over for gifts and dinner. Even though my house is really big there wouldnt be enough room for everyone if we had both families together at once. that would be around 20 people in my house! so we just have them come at different times. now once we buy our dream house we can have everyone over at once which will be really nice! this will be my sons 3rd christmas and my daughters 1st. I cant wait till he wakes up christmas morning to see all the gifts! hopefully this year he will acutually open some lol! So how do you celebrate the holidays and what holiday do you celebrate?

on the holidays, we trade off. One year in out home, one year at the in-laws. Just how it works out. I am having a c-section on Dec. 10th. So we will probably have a quiet celebration just us this year. My hubby will make sure everyone gets their gifts though.

I celebrate christmas as well. We do things kind of the same but a little different. every year my husband's family decides on which day they are going to do their christmas thing at his grandmother's house usually it is on christmas eve. My family it doesnt matter because either way we always have my family do all their stuff on christmas day. We usually open gifts in the morning and all throughout the day as people come in and out. Usually though they will all be at my mother's house around the same time so that they can eat the large spread that she puts out on the table. when that happens there is people every where. There are even times when at least one of my husbands brothers comes and eats as well. sometimes we end up taking a plate of food to his grandma or someone like that.
