I noticed that more introverted people love teh internets more than extroverts. Is it just me, or is it true? To prove or disprove what I've been observing, I would like to ask all if you are an introvert or an extrovert. =) By the way, I'm an introvert. Thanks for the response and happy myLotting!

Hi Internet provides us a chance to express our ideas without being physically face to face. Thereby, we are expressing our ideas minus physical expressions. Some of us do like this method. In fact i also like to express myself without bothering about what'll be facial expression of the listener once i say so. As a result, i think introvert people may love internet more. I think i can't be called introvert. I do like internet to express my ideas. Anyway happy mylotting.

Introvert, I guess the internet lets introverts express themselves more freely without thinking about what other people might be thinking about them or their looks.

I see. But isn't it just being shy or lack in self-confidence? People usually equate being introverted and extroverted as being shy or not being shy.

im an introvert. it makes sense that more introverts "love" the internet. extroverts dont have a problem with putting themselves "out there" in the real world among ppl they dont know etc. introverts would logically find the internet a less exposed place to be.

That's the difference with introverts and extroverts. Extroverts are more comfortable having more people around, like they are energized more when more people are around them. Introverts, on the other hand, prefer being alone more to recharge themselves.

I am not shy but I am quiet and introspective. I love the internet because I express myself better and easier in writing that I can in conversation. I do enjoy chatting to people and I can discuss important issues, but I always end up thinking afterwards of something else I should have said, or of a better way of trying to say what I meant. I don't have the same problem putting my thoughts into writing. I can write quickly and easily in discussions, and I can always edit my posts after I preview them and before I submit. I can revise and rewrite my articles, and think about my blog posts, before submitting them, so again I can communicate more easily online than in person.
