I'd like to use the option to add a debit card to my paypal account but the only card options I've been seeing are only AMERICAN cards like visa, master card and discover. I'm not a U.S resident so how do I add a different card type or do we HAVE TO use one of those? any non U.S/Non Canadian residents here who have linked a card to their paypal yet? if yes, what type was it? did it have an American logo like those?... **confused**

I have yet to link my Paypal account to my bank account. I am thinking of getting a debit checking card from a local bank here in Korea and using it to verify my Paypal account. Visa and and Master Card are usually internationally friendly, especially Visa as it can be found and accepted almost any and everywhere in the world. I would suggest just getting a debit card that is either Visa or Master Card as that seems to be the easiest method for you.

Hey there! You can still add a credit card on it. I am from the Philippines and I use Eon bu Union Bank. once your card has a symbol like that of visa, master card you can link it up to your paypal account. What credit card do you have, if any? What country are you from?

I'm from Jamaica, (in the Caribbean). And no I don't have a credit card and would prefer to use a debit card instead. OK, so you said your card has one of the above mentioned logos. I think I'll have to get a debit card which has one of those logos as well which can be linked to paypal, I'll have to check it out then...

Try to check on your profile at paypal, you can make use or add your debit card account at Bank Account section. That is applicable to non US residents.

I'm glad i'm not the only one struggling with this. When I first signed up for paypal was given the option of three accounts so I plumped for the premier one. Now i'm being told I won't be verified until i've added my card and confirmed my address. Have spent a good month struggling with this site. Always thought it was supposed to be easy. I just hope I can get it all sorted before payout as I am still unverified and don't know whether this will make a difference. Have tried to add my card but as of yet have had no luck. I too will be very interested as a UK resident to find out exactly what people think about this?
