Some people a re habitual fretters. They need no excuse for fretting. if their child has gone out with his friends, they will keep fretting till he comes back. They wil run to the window ten times to see if he has come. If they are driving in a vehicle, they will repeatedly keep telling the driver to slow down, fearing that he will hit the next vehicle coming from the opposite direction. I have a friend who is all the time in tension, worried that something untoward will happen. If he has appeared in an exam he will keep fretting till the result comes and keep worrying that he will fail when he would actually ahve done very well. Why do some people behave in this manner? do theylack confidence or is it some disease?

i have this problem badly, the doctor says it is in relation to anxiety and panic attacks but im also a natural worrier which does not help. i worry al lot about dying or accidents, i worry if i die who will have my kids, and i worry that i will die when they are too young to fend for themselves, then i worry about them dying. i will panic about the kids also if they go out, i panic about waking up late and being late to take them to school, if im in a car/bus/train i think its gonna crash and i worry myself sick over money, weight, everything really to be honest. but its not that bad that im avoiding things you know? im still living a normal everyday life, just in my head is the constant worrying. i think if it gets worse there is medication that can be took, but im ok without it at the moment. i dont know why it happens, honestly i have no idea, i developed these thoughts only after i had my first child.
