What in your opinion, is the best book-to-film adaptation?

I would have to say Lord of the Rings. They followed the books very well and they turned out to be great movies. The Harry Potter movies are good but they leave a lot of stuff out and have changed a few things. The worst i have seen has to be Eragon. I loved the book and was excited about the movie but was totally disappointed on how much was changed and left out.
