Well Hello to all Mylotters. As some of you may know Mr Ruby has been away,so I have been staying with my Mum to give her some company for a change..bless her.. So,no internet at Mums,so no Mylotting or surfing .But Im home again now.. I recently posted about Ciao reviews and was asking about the site. Before I went to stay with Mum I did one review..not mind boggling I know lol but a start... My next question is..........Do they pay ,and has anyone here on Mylot been paid by them? I know it seems a bit distrusting of me..but there are so many sites that have featured in Mylot that dont pay and I really dont want to go any further if the end product is no payment. Be really grateful if any of you could tell me more... Thanks...Ruby x

Hi Ruby! Yes they do pay - I am a member of Ciao UK and Ciao Us. With ciao uk they pay into your bank account directly in the middle of the month following your request so I alwyas request payment on the last day of the month so I only wait up to about two weeks for the money - Ciao Us pay into paypal so you must have a paypal account to get paid by them. In terms of money they tend to work on the idea that if you write a review others will rate it and you get so much each time somebody rates how helpful the review is - the money is then updated the next day for all rates the previous day. In turn when a member rates you if you return the favour this starts to build up your name within the site. As first you may feel you are not earning much but as you start to write more and you get known around the site you tend to get more reads and rates of your review which means in turn more money. As an example I have written just over 150 reviews on ciao uk and have averaged out at about £1 per review so not bad at all and more than on here. Ciao Us at the moment pay $1 set for each review added plus any extr earnings from people rating them. Once you sign up if you advise your username I will be happy to come along and rate you to get you started!! Oh and another note - when writing reviews you only get paid on things that show either £/$ next to the title - a product that has £ will pay less than a product that shows ££ or even £££ which means the pay is higher per rate received on it. If you're unsure I can send you a message once you are signed up to explain anything you need to know!

OK well thanks so for the information.I would like to know why it is that when you have been away from home for a few days that there seems to be a hundred and one jobs that need doing when you return! The explanation was really good, the last part im not too sure that I follow, but maybe my brain isnt functioning due to the cold lol.I wasnt being mean when I asked if Ciao paid out,but it just seems a logical question to ask!The first review I wrote I wasnt too happy with,so im going to start again I think..im hyper critical of my own shortcomings Frankie!.so later on today im hoping to have the time to write another, then I will let you know and you can point me in the right direction.Thankyou x

Sorry that last bit was me probably waffling on for too long!! It is actually easier to explain once you're signed up as then you can look at it and see what I mean and then it starst to make sense!! It's a fair question to ask - I was the same before I joined ciao and when I joined Ciao Us I was happy to just sign write up because I knew the site was legit from being on Ciao UK! Oh and it's also worth noting that the review can appear on both sites so if you write on on a prodcut thta is listed on both, you can just copy it right over and make money twice on it and the same if you join the other review site Dooyoo which is another UK site that pays out in either cheque form once you reach £50 or you can get amazon vouchers once you reach £10. Anyways once you are ready to go just let me know and I'll help all I can! I am currently saving all my earnings towards spending money for my holiday to Florida next year so am constantly on all three sites!!

Hi ruby, Glad to have you back, about your inquiry, I have seen friends here who talk about that site but I have no idea if it's a legit one! I am sure you will hear confirmation from other member! I joined one site last July and when I asked for my earnings, they didn't reply and 2 weeks after that, they close! I learned a lesson! LOL!
