i posted about nosy neighbors about a month ago, and while some of you mistook it for noisy neighbors
, the ones i was talking about left the building and moved to another city, thank God! so we have new neighbors now.they seem pretty nice. they're an old couple who live with their grown-up children (i haven't counted properly yet but it seems they have three children).
i want to befriend the new next-door occupants, but i don't know how. how do you approach new neighbors?

Well it is not hard to approach one, just smile first day, then the second smile again, then the third say good morning, it really takes up time. if you want to befriend them, chat them, look for something which is of interest to them, oh my you should listen to me,t hey say I am an expert on making people open up and befriending people (just like what I did to you, kapal mukha ko)I really have that talent, sometimes when I go out and buy something on the convenient store, I would take longer time to buy because I chat with the seller. sometimes I can know the whole life story of the one I am talking too, my hubby was a mazed when I talk about people and how much things I knew about them.

wow. that's where were different. i'm kind of shy when it comes to that. the reason why i am able to talk so freely here is that we are not face-to-face, but when i am already in front of people, it's like my tongue crawls back and i cannot think of anything proper to say
but with people that i'm comfortable with, i'm usually talkative.

Since you are an old timer there it is only right that you make the first move to befriend your new neighbors. Put up your broad smile when you happen to see them and if they return your smile then it is easy to break the ice. It is so much easier if they have small kids as the first approach is to compliment on the cute child and then the rest is much easier to continue whatever you want to say. Be natural and don't make them feel a newcomer and they will feel at ease talking to you.

i have actually tried that yesterday and yes, it worked!
i was out with my baby enjoying the morning sun, when the new neighbor approached us and remarked how cute my baby is. i'm so glad we were finally able to talk like normal neighbors do
