Bake Macaroni or Macaroni on top of the stove?

I prefer Baked Mac n Cheese. However, I frequently eat microwave mac n cheese because it is so easy to fix!!! I don't like cooking it on top of the stove because than pot is soooo freakin messy it is a nightmare to clean the pot. I tend to eat a lot of the Easy Macs where you put the macaroni & water in a bowl & cook then add the cheese & stir in the same bowl. I usually cook it in a styrofoam bowl so I can just throw it away after I eat. My Mom used to make a HUGE baked mac n cheese when company came over just because I loved it so much. I hope I can find her recipe for it!!!

I loooove my grandma's baked macaroni and cheese. But I found a recipe and I can bake it just as good. Kraft macaroni is okay. My son doesn't mind it. If you add extra cheese you can put it in the oven too.

Baked macaroni has been one of my favorites. I remember when I was younger, I would always look for the toasted cheese in the macaroni. I also like the fact that the inner portion is warmer.

I love baked macaroni but once you factor in all the fat and calories from the cheese and cream it definitely becomes more of a treat then a regular meal! I make the Kraft stuff every now and then as a side dish. I love it with ketchup!

I've never tried baked macaroni, but I have tried baked spaghetti and I really love it. I do like the Kraft macaroni and cheese that comes in a box. I also like to just fix regular macaroni and put tomatoe juice in it and eat it just plain that way too. I started eating it that way when I was a kid. I was so picky, a lot of the time when my mom would fix a big meal she would just fix that for me so that I would eat something. Now I really love macaroni fixed that way with pork chops and corn bread. MMM Real southern feast. Now this conversation is making me hungry.
