Any discussion that remains active by receiving responses will continue to be active. Once it begins to die down, it will fade with the rest of the older discussions. But if another member finds the discussion at a later time and responds, that might toss it back in with the active discussions. Usually doesn't remain there very long but might warrant more responses.

A discussion will stay active as long as the members take part in posting new ideas and opinions. It has no due date. I have many discussions dating two years old and if I want to continue on the discussions, I can. But most discussions are only relevant when it is posted at present time, because of the nature of the situation and the topic to be discussed. But if it is a general question, it is relevant at all times and anybody has the right to add something new to it from time to time.

If your discussion is being liked by everyone and more responses are coming everyday.... then, your discussion is active all the days whenever the response comes......
