Oh I sooo feel your pain. My daughter will be 3 in december and she is wicket! Every time she dont get her own way she screams and throws tantrums. AHHH what to do? I find with noelle I count I start from 1 and keep counting. She then comes over and puts her hands on my lips. Then she sais shh. I say are you done? If she sais no i start at 1 again and keep going until she stops. Which dont take very long! Hopefully this will help for you! Another thing I find that works with noelle is when im upstairs and she screams for me to come down I sit at the top of the stairs and sais "mommy is not comming down until you ask nicely"

just try to ignore your kid. it might sound harsh to you but it does work. once they get tired they will surely stop. the more you show concern when they whine and cry nd throw things....the more they'll keep doing it coz they are getting the attention. they will think that you will eventually give up to their wants. just be firm when you try to ignore them

Oh my god, i think its the same with all the kids in this generation. I know i amtalking like a grandma but that is the truth. My son, now 17 months old throws tantrum and all i can do is get irritated. I too dont know how to manage him. hopefully i too will get some answers from your discussion.
