hi there. i just wanna ask how you can make your pc more secured from any security breaches.. i mean, aside from having a very predictable password, how else can you avoid being breached?

Get a reliable firewall software such as ZoneAlarm or something. A good password needs to be alphanumeric, more than 8 letters and contains special characters and mixture of caps.

The other responses you have received are very good, but I would like to add a little bit to what they are saying. You must have a firewall, antivirus software, antispyware software and the other software defenses that were mentioned by the others. Yes, passwords are important but that is just the tip of the iceberg. I am not going to recommend a particular program. My suggestion is that you go to pcmag.com and read their reviews of the various types of programs that you need. I have really found PC Magazine very helpful in finding the exact software I need for any occasion. They actually go out and test all these programs and then tell you what they found from the tests they ran. I don't know that anyone can avoid a breach, so you need to have the software that will protect you if you do get breached. Hope this helps you.
