Since automatic loads and electronic load has been introduced to us, seldom users load through cards and buying big amount of cellphone loads. I think electronic loads from Smart is the first one that was introduced and it was in 2003 I think (5 years since) and then comes Globe. Now a days almost everyone buy their load from this, why not? it is sold on a smaller denomination unlike the card type of loads. I also buy load from them, and is easy too, no need to scratch and no need to call, just give your number and there goes the load.
But yesterday, I asked my hubby if he can buy me a 100 worth of prepaid load, since I have been buying loads from my sister (through ym and pay later scheme, ha ha) and they have internet connection for some time, I have to buy a load somewhere else, and I can't go out since I can't leave the kids. And so, when he was home he handed me a 300 worth of prepaid load card
I am just happy because it has been ages since I got hold of that load amount..
How about you guys?
When was the last time you load prepaid credits from a card?
And when was the last time you load a big amount to your mobile phones
my phone is used to 25 loads and 50 worth loads, it got its tummy big because of this one

I think it was last year. When I am still studying I load 150 pesos a month. But I am not using prepaid. I am a Sun Cellular user. I convert that 150 regular load to one month unlimited texts and it has 4 hours calls and if I am correct I think 20 SMS free load to other networks. But now I only load 20 pesos regular load in my sim.
I don't text too much now than before. Only for important matter.

It will be one year now since i last loaded... i have a post paid line provided by my company... so there is no need for me to buy cards or automatic loads... i feel that is more convenient for me since i do not need to look for a loading station or a place where i can buy a card if in case i need to make important calls... and the calls are cheaper less than 7 php per minute...

I only reload a huge amount on my cell when I go abroad for a long time, say a month or two. I use prepaid cards because if I relied on a post paid line then my bill might just balloon and make me swoon when I come back. In the past, reloading when you're overseas was a bit problematic so I do it while I'm still here. I heard that Globe has solved the problem already but I haven't tried it out yet myself. Normally though I reload 300 on my phone once a month..heehee I text a lot. :P

The last time I loaded heavy my mobile phone was went I went abroad to Ireland. I just wanted to make sure that I could be able to contact my relatives back home. Usually I try to make use of my cell phone the minimum possible.

When I was still in Prepaid, my 250 would last for a month. I don't remember having a 300 in 1999-2000. Then 250 was phased out and out came 100 and 300 so I (or rather my dad) upped my 250 to 300 every month. It lasted long, even up to 2 months and that's with regular texting and calls (via off-peak rates). Take note, there's no 232 or 235 or Unlimited texting during those days yet. And then when I got to college, 300 would only last for a week or two and my dad noticed it so he got me a postpaid line of my own. Not an extension or whatever. But I used prepaid last last year when I went abroad for a class tour, I had 2,000 load on for a 3-day tour. I need it just in case I have to text my parents and a "friend".

I use my post-paid Globe to transfer amounts to my pre-paid globe.
But there are times that I use card since I can get discounts buying cards than e-loads. I buy 300 Php worth of load for only 275 Php. That is 25 pesos off right away. Plus, I need not load as many times as needed. This is extra convenience for me.
On the other hand, I always think of the environment everytime I buy cards... I wish they can make it paper or biodegradable. Or, they can give discounts for e-loads.
Great day!

I buy 300 peso worth of credits every month. I find buying prepaid cards cheaper compared to loading my phone twenty bucks a day. Plus the fact that it comes with 35 free texts, it would sum up to 335Php worth of credits loaded in my phone. I strongly believe in purchasing with the idea "cheaper by the dozen" kind of thing.

The last time I loaded a big amount to my cellphone was five years ago, when I as still using prepaid. It was 500 pesos, which I used to call my sister abroad. That was the first and last time that I bought that kind of amount of load, when there was no Autoload for Globe yet.

This is funny. Now when was the last time i had that huge amount worth of load.. Can't even remember. In this age of electronic load, it's probably an unusual case to have a load like that(Well, this is not applicable for those who can afford those prepaid cards)

Hey there! The last time I loaded my phone with a big amount was in the year 2006. I forgot the amount. My mom was the one who use up all the load. I was only able to make one call and a couple of text messages. lol. Since then I haven't loaded my cellphone with a big amount. I just go to the nearest reload station to load up.

Nice question.it has been a while since i have oloaded my cellphone a big amount.Way back then when electonic loads are not yet available i have loaded my cellphone 500 pesos (10$). And mind you i was still a student back then so the money is really a big amount. But now,i am working,i have a monthly salary of my own,the largest anount of load i could purchase is 115 pesos (2$).Now i want to laugh about then, back then I have no income but i have loaded such an amount, while now,im earning and all,all i could load is that amount.Well, people do change.i guess i have more priorities now than loading my cellphone big.
Have a nice day.

well, the last time i loaded my prepaid phone is when i was about to travel to hongkong. i only stayed there for almost 4 days but i needed to reload a higher amount since roaming service of my network provider costs more. the outgoing text costs 15 pesos and a call costs 30 pesos per minute. i will also be charged when i answer an incoming call. really expensive, right?
the amount that i've loaded never lasted four days. i had to borrow my officemate's cellphone (with postpaid line) so i would be able to call back home.
good thing she didn't ask me to pay for the charges of my call any more.

Hmm...it must have been at least three years ago since I loaded a big amount to my phone. Or any amount, actually. Because for the last three years or so, I've been using a postpaid account. =]
