How do you park your car? (Forward or Reversed?

Hi natsvelascotan, if I’m not in a hurry I usually would park my car in reversed so it’s quite convenient and easy for me just to drive the vehicle straight away out from the parking lot. Most of the time I would park my car forward for I always like to reach my destination earlier so I usually don’t take the trouble to spend more time to park my car reversed. What’s more I don’t have any difficulty to move my car away out from the car park. posting and have a nice day.

I parked using the reversed method. Actually if you master it, it's more easy to park especially when the parking lot is in between other cars. When you try to park using this method, the side mirror is very important. Once you can see both car in your side mirror, left and right you will have a full control of the situation. Just reverse your car slowly into the box. Trust me, you can do it!

I had a Daihatsu car and I could reverse park so easy in that car but now I have a Daewoo and I have no confidence in reverse parking in it at all so I always forward park.

I don't have a car and I don't know how to park a car. But when my uncle is teaching some techniques in driving. He told me that it is easy to park in reverse so that when you will take your car out of the parking it will be just easy. But I think when parking in reverse, it is difficult than forward. So I think if ever I have a my own car I would park it forward.

I have to admit that reverse parking is easier that forward. I always do this when I found a spot in between car. It seem easier to get out also.

I park my car forward. The reason? It is easier for me when I arrive at location. Yeah I know, at the end of the day, I would still need to reverse out of the parking spot. So, the situation is pretty much cancels out each other. However, lately I have been reverse parking and I find it rather fun because I need to maneuver such a huge machine with its rear first into the parking slot. Though, I would prefer the most the type where there are 2 parking slots front to front, and I would find 2 consecutive empty slots and drive through so I would not need to do any reversing! Aha!
