How will your father feel to be seen with the crippled son?

I don't understand, how should your father feel? He is your father, just because you have a disability he should not feel anyway, but love for you because you are his child. I couldn't imagine any parent being ashamed of their child because of an affliction. If the parent feels differently because the child has a disability, I wouldn't want him as my father.
