Happy anniversary! No ideas here. We never did celebrate any anniversary. We are not married and we never did start celebrating the anniversary for when we first met or moved in together. I guess that is a real low cost idea, but then again it does not make it very special at all. Being married for 21 years deserves much better than that :-) Hope you'll have a great day!

Hi cher, congratulations for both of you. It is wonderful being together 21 years. And the best part: HAPPIES! well, I don't know but why not go out for a romantic walking and have a dinner in your favourite reataurant? It will be cheap. And after it go home and have a new nuptials night. All the best cher.

Congratulations! I can't think of a low cost idea except to get a movie and stay home. Enjoy each other's company. Maybe your parents will keep the kids for the night. Let your imagination run wild...lol We have not spent the last 2 years on our anniversary together. My husband is a coach and he was travelling both years. I asked him to please stay home this year so we can celebrate 40 years of marriage together. I may even get an idea to have a surprise anniversary party for him. It would be a real surprise if he was out of town and didn't show up. I'd be half devistated. Would like to get together with friends and relatives so we can all celebrate a marriage people said wouldn't last. Oh did we prove those folks wrong. Have a great evening, carolbee

Wow 21 years that is amazing. Congradulations. I have been with my husband for 4 years (married 1 dated 3). Honestly, I find myself sometimes recreating the way we fell in love. We met online actually, eHarmony. Our very first conversation was when I sent him an IM and said "Hi" he replied with "Hi" then we just sat there no speaking so I send him a message "OK, I really don't know what to say, I have never done this before" at which point he laughed at me. We talking through out the day via IM and sometimes I just send him a "Hi" and he responds "Hi" and I say "OK, I really don' know what to say ....." which makes us both laugh. Out first date was to a Nationals game, so we try to go to a Nats game at least once a year. I think sometimes when you are with someone for a long time, you start taking their presence for granted, this way, we always remember what it was like before we met and how great it felt to fall in love.

Congratulations! You have all day to make goo goo eyes at each other, lol. I'm not married so I never have had to think of anniversary plans. Whatever you do, I hope you have fun and that you enjoy your time just as much as you did 21 years ago, if not more. : )

Happy Anniversary! 21 years of marriage is quite impressive these days. I hope you have a lovely dinner and just enjoy each other. I think how you spend your time together to celebrate depends on what you like to do. Sometimes, we go to a nice nature trail and go for a long walk because we both love the whole nature thing. Or we go out to dinner and then, sometimes go out to a local coffeehouse that has live musicians singing and playing instruments. It doesn't cost much to have a coffee drink and there's no cover charge, so that's a pretty inexpensive thing to do. Sometimes, we take a day trip to explore a city close to us for shopping or whatever the city is known for. That usually involves a little more cash!

Wow congratulations! I've been married to my hubby 2 years in December and I can honestly say there have been a thousand and one times where I have wanted to jack it all in. Kept at it though and it's going well, after our intial problems. As for suggestions, there's a couple I can mention, but they are a little rude so I won't shock anyone! Just appreciate each other and do what you want, without having to worry about kids etc. Have fun and do something you haven't done in a while, just 'coz you can! Have fun and hope all is great! Congratulations again! xxx

hi there, HAPPY ANNIVERSARY! would like to suggest you can have a special dinner together in a romantic place perhaps, or if you want you can prepare your own romantic dinner outside your garden, set a new ambiance in your garden, a candlite dinner perhaps. sounds ordinary but i know your hubby will surely appreciate it.

happy 21st anniversary to you both. sounds like fun ,your plans. For our nextto lastanniversary my husband took me to see the insides of the Queen Mary, that was so much fun too as I had never beento it before, we spent a lot of time touring with the other groups . that was a fun day for me too. How about a local attraction like the queen for a day that is special and different?
