How do you express yourself (freely, conservatively or controversial) in mylot?

I think most of us respond to topics that interest the excite, intridge or inspire us concerning mylot. When you do respond to a discussion that differs from your way of thinking or operating in life do you or are you 1. Do you freely express you opinion and leave it at that? 2. Are you conservative in your response, and try to blend in with others thoughts as not to raise too much negative attention to yourself? 3. Are you controversial intentionally or unintentionally just to see the type of response you will receive in return, and also do you continue to be confrontational until you have the last word? This scenario doesn't just have to apply to mylot but also in real life. I tend to be more like #1 and I am only like #3 in cases of being misunderstood. I have to know that a person understands my way of thinking (not because I think I'm right or have to be right), but because if the person I'm speaking to have a difference of opinion then I want to ensure they understand my point of view, not that they have to accept it or agree with it, but understand it is what is most important to me. What's your story?
