Hey ya'll! I'm having a little of twiny thrive (whatever that means xD), I'm a twin so I wanted to know the other side of the story. What do you all think about twins? Any significant differences? Things you dislike about them perhaps? Any thoughts you have about twins, please post it here ^w^ I'd like to hear the opinions of those that don't have one!

I think it would be cool to have a twin, however, my nieces don't agree with me. Although they love each other very much, they hate the fact that they don't have their "own" birthday. When they lived with us, my husband was aware of that fact so on their birthday he bought each of them their own cake so that they would feel a little special. They didn't like the fact that they were in the same grade at school or that people would always ask them about what it was like to be a twin. And all that talk about twins being so close and feeling each other's thoughts wasn't true with them. They were as different as night and day. As a matter of fact one of the twins and their younger sister (by one year) looked more alike than the twins. From a mother's perspective, my sister always hated when people tried to dress her girls just alike. Even if I bought them little sundresses just alike only in different colors, my sister would never dress the girls in them at the same time. she wanted them to have their own identities instead of being known as "the twins". What was always funny was when my sister and I were out with the girls. We'd each have a stroller and we'd be walking through a store and people would stop us and say, "are they twins?" Finally, after answering the question for like the 40th time in one day I said, "No. We're sisters who married brothers. We both got pregnant and had girls on the very same day." I was being sarcastic but the woman actually thought it was true and started telling everyone in the story about our weird story. My sister could have killed me for that one. lol.

rofl omg that's so funny! xD Me and my sister are as different as night and day too, more accurately I'm the "night" and she's the "day" if you know what I mean, lol! But, still, there is a bond that 'normal' people don't know nything about, I'm sure ur nieces have it too just denying it :P I used to deny it but I quitted doing that when it became too obvious, lol. I hate dressing up in similar clothes but my mom loves it xD
