Have you ever really read through the legal, terms, privacy, FAQs, rules of mylot before you actually join mylot??? To be honest i never read that. After joining mylot for a while then i realize about it. I have never read through all of it but just skim through some information i wanted to know like the do's and dont's.

honestly, i don't the legal terms and the privacy statement because they are too long for me to digest effectively. But I read the rules though, just to make sure I don't do anything that will jeopardize my membership and right to use the service.

honestly, i didn't read it carefully. i guess i was too excited to join.
anyway, i've learned about some of the rules here in mylot from the discussions itself and then i try to check it out. i can say that i am still not fully aware of those legal, terms, privacy, etc., but i am sure that i won't be violating any rules.

Honestly, I did not because I was not aware that there are guidelines to follow! Ha!ha!ha! I just learn from the other users that there are guidelines here and that was when I read them and I was surprised that already made a lot of violations because there are so many do's and dont's here! I'm thankful to those who give helpful advice to me when I was a newbie so I make it a point to also do the same to them now!

Hi snpyvin,
I think most people do the same things as you because I did look carfully and the Dos and Don'ts and that is why I make sure that I don't get my discussions deleted.

That is actually a COMMON MISTAKES for everyone in the internet. We tend to ignore important details that we should know, that's our obligation before we agree or sign up on somethings, that's why most people who are penalized are people who are not reading the guidelines.

Any time I join a site, I try to go in and read everything before I actually register. I want to know what kind of site I am going to be signing up on, and I certainly want to know what is acceptable and what is not. To me, and this is just me,personally, it is kind of silly to do otherwise.

I would normally not read all the documents but I would for sure read the TOS and the guidelines since it is important for me to know what I can and cannot do on the sites that I joined.
In most cases, even though I have read those documents, I would still have things that I would be not quite sure about and under normal circumstances, I would just contact the site's admin for clarification. In myLot, I have sent two messages so far to myLot in order to clarify certain things and I am glad that the responses were fast and clear.
In conclusion, it is important to read before we do anything new so that we do not ended up in the wrong place or doing things that we would regret later or that would get us kicked out or banned from the sites.
Cheers!

I always do it. I mean I know it's boring and tedious but my theory is that if I don't read through the T and C's I might not be able to find out if the site is open to people outside the US or that they only pay via certain methods which wouldn't be suitable for me. This is a habit I always do now afteral I want to make sure there's nothing in the terms that implies I have to pay for joining the site either.

Lol I very rarely read through the whole thing unless they make me check a box that says i have READ the terms and agreement...then usually I skim it, but when it came to mylot for I think the second or third time in my life, I sat my butt down and read all the way through... I think It took me about 2 hrs to read through that and register for mylot... because I am so easily distracted XD lol But its worth it, at least I think so, and considering it would be my moms PayPal account... I think I kinda had too...not choice... she expects me to act responsibly and I get priviledges other kids dont because of that. :) so I try not to misplace that trust she has for me.
