Yes Magazine came up with their top 20 Celebrity Endorsers issue, and I was scanning through, definitely, these celebrities are the ones who have big billboards or are uberly exposed individuals on tv.
I am not the type who would patronize a product because it is being promoted by so-and-so.
I have my list of favorite endorsers, and I like them because of their reputation (but not necessarily patronizes their products).
1) Carmina Villaroel and kids - As family I like them because they are beautiful.
2) Marian Rivera - She can blend well with people from all walks of life.
3) John Lloyd Cruz - He is just so handsome.
4) Dawn Zulueta - She has this nice aura and you kind of feel like she is for real.
5) Judy Ann Santos - She is the real deal and she worked hard for everything, and whatever she promotes seem to be such a click.
How about you? Who among the endorsers you like? Do you patronize them?

im not into celebrity endorsers either. i usually buy the products because i like them and it works for me, not because they endorsed it. but when it comes to commercials, i like to see these celebrities on tv:
1. angel locsin
2. like you, carmina villaroel
3. bitoy (michael v.)
4. obviously, since i wrote bitoy, i like to see OGIE A.
that would be all for now. im not aware of what's on tv now since im not in the philippines. :)

I have not really turned my tv on yet. Anyways, the showbusiness world here is getting weird, you can access showbusiness stuff through pep.ph or showbizjuice.com.
Now, I remember I have to watch hushhush!

I do not actually patronize them but I am just curious on the fact that the number of endorsements these celebrities the higher is their pay and there is a greater chance and possibility of products to be used by their fans.
All in all, it all boils down to their convincing power.

Just like you I don't use it because it was promoted by a famous celebrity if I do probably because the product is not bad at all. A product that I have never noticed until Kris Aquino endorsed it was Nutri-Oil. Not because she endorsed it, but because I noticed that it's vegetable oil and I liked the packaging hahaha. I like pretty much the same people you mentioned. I agree John Lloyd Cruz is so handsome I saw him in person in Sta. Lucia Grand Mall woah his face is like a male doll.

I don't patronize the endorsers, I patronize the products if it of quality and of good use. It's not good to buy a product because of a certain endorsers. It's a big help for one product to be recognized by the public because of them, but you have to test the product too.

Celebrity endorses are so influencial. They really help to make a product sellable. One of my favorite endorsers are from the BENCH family.I think celebrity from this famous brand of undergarments and clothing posses a good role model for this product.

no, not at all. the truth is...there's a huge difference when it comes to endorsing products in the Philippines and USA. In the Philippines you'll see celebrities endorsing products in all commercials there is on tv. in USA, you will just watch home tv shopping or people who are not celebrities at all
