To cloak or not to cloak affiliate links?

I think it's a good idea to cloak your affiliate links in most cases because there are too many thieves out there. Sometimes some of the affiliate cloaking scripts out there don't work properly and could cause you to loose commissions on programs that rely on cookies, so you have to be careful there as well. I think it's more professional looking and easier, if you have your own website, to hide affiliate links. I use the .htaccess file to hide my affiliate links and even on links that don't pay commissions because it makes them easier to remember. Stan
