Here is how prices work for oil. They go up instantly but come down slowly. This is the scam that oil companies pull on us poor unfortunate people. However, lower oil is not a good thing from climate change perspective. OPEC has started cutting oil production to keep the prices from falling anymore. Its a monolpy and there is nothing we can do if we depending on oil.
