Ive rescently and for the first time used ebay to sell my camera. Because of this then i have spoken to friends who use ebay and i was very suprised to hear how much money some of them make from it! My friend bought a load of cooking books in the sale reduced from £40 to £10 and sold them all in a week for £20 each!!! he made around £300! I just wanted to know how many people use ebay here? and if you do, then do you just use it for getting rid of old bits-n-bobs or do you use it to compliment your income? Happy mylotting. Cheers. I tried ebay, once or twice, lost money, didn't make a thing! Maybe I wasn't using it correctly or whatever! Didn't do well for me, so I just left it alone! For u who are doing well with it, congrats! Much prosperity to you all, but I just stay away from it, can't take anymore losses! Taripre$

HMM, still haven't really figured that out yet, y I didn't sell anything! I lost money from posting everything and categorizing, we know it's not free! So if nothing sells, u paid for nothing! Now, it could be that as I was posting, I'd search and see what items were similar and the going rate, what the descriptions say and how many bids they got, I wasn't competitive enough, but I didn't even get very many looks! Noticing I wasn't getting any, didn't understand, I would even link to my bids, but nothing, hmm? So after a few times of that, just said, forget it Taripre$

yea, I use ebay a lot. Ebay is a great source of starting up your own business and making some money online. I already have my own store and have it stocked with a lot of stuff. This can be very profitable if you know what you are selling and at what price/

Ebay can be a great source of income if you use it correctly. I like to go to auctions and big sales where I can get good deals on things. Then I turn around and sell it on Ebay. I also use Craigslist to find items for sale and then compare what they are going for on there to what they are going for on ebay. YOu can make big profits that way as well. Good luck with your sales.

I use eBay quite a bit especially around the holidays. I hardly ever purchase anything. Mostly I sell. I have sold a lot of clothes my kids have outgrown, also some computer games like Sims, some baby toys, electronic games and so forth. I like selling on eBay if I have some extra time. I made quite a bit right before the holidays last year - enough to partailly fund Christmas presents.

I use Ebay frequently as a buyer and a seller. I have bought and sold old and new items there. It gets addicting because you can save so much money by buying on ebay than that at the retailers. Plus I love to get involved in the bidding there. I also get an extra 20% in rebates deposited to my paypal account monthly from everything I buy there and when I sell things, I get more customers to see the product through a product search.

I use ebay all the time, but unfortunately, I just spend my hard earned money on it! I don't really sell that much, althought I probably should. I just buy lots, from clothes to household stuff, anything you can think of really, it's amazing how many bargains you can get on there!

My sister and I also used ebay to buy and sell things. Just a few months ago we sold some new and old items. And just recently we bought some items there as well. I bought some books there on a very cheap price. I'm really happy because I save lots of money for that book. Anyway, ebay really is a great source of making money, a lot of people become rich just by using it. I think if you'll just know the right items to sell, you'll more likely earned more money there. That's I really wish to know and really would like to put up a more successful buy and sell store in ebay someday.

I've been using EBay for about three years. I've found it to be quite profitable especially for selling items that I no longer need. I think the fees can be a bit ridiculous, but as long as I make a few bucks that's all that matters to me.
