Has The Weather Ever Ruined Dressing Up On Halloween For You?

I think it does for me every year. Its so cold that I can't stay out for long without getting a cold, and can't wear costumes I really like because I'd have to wear a coat over it or such. Wearing clothes over it almost ruins the point, & I wish it were warmer on Halloween. So, how about for you, your friends, or for your kids? Has the weather on Halloween defeated trick-or-treating or dressing up?

Oh yes. I live in Upstate New York and it's not unusual for it to snow on Halloween here. That's one thing we pay attention to when picking out costume for our kids. We make sure that anything they wear will fit over a coat. Luckily we haven't had to stay in completely before but there have been times we don't stay out long.
