Flu Shot?

I got flu shots a few times, as they recommend them for, asthmatics, the elderly, etc here where I live. The last injection I got made me ill for six weeks with flu symptoms and I could not lift my arms up properly. I always say it give me the flu, but experts say this is not possible. I no longer run and get a flu shot when Autumn arrives. I think I would rather just let nature take it course.

I started getting flu shots about five, six years ago, when i got a flu, and felt like dieing. I had colds and such but the flu was really bad, I was in bed for a week, with high fever, could berly walk and talk...it was just bad. So the next year I took my first shot and am getting it every year.

I have never gotten a flu shot. I just home for the best like you do. I rarely get really sick in the winter time. I do sometimes end up with a cold, but that is not something the flu shot would prevent anyway.

I have never gotten a flu shot. My 3 year old grandaughter got one today and my 83 year old mother got hers last Friday. I am like you, I just hope for the best.

i got the flu shot once. about a month after getting the flu shot, i had the worst flu i've ever had in my whole life. i was throwing up so bad and had a bad cold to go along with it. ever since then, i've never gotten the flu shot again. i asked my husband if he gets the flu shot. he told me that he did once and he had the same problem so he's never had one since. personally, we feel it's not worth it.
