Finally I finished My Health Care Aide course here at one of Winnipeg's top college's. I haven't started looking for a job in my field yet, because I'm not sure if I want to continue College or maybe University next year. By finishing this course I've realized that ANYONE that puts in some time and hard work can succeed in there dreams. I know now I can take a longer course and that I can push myself to finished it to have the final out come as a graduate. I moved out of my parents house when I was 16. Moving 8 hours from home at age 20 and starting fresh in a new city got my head in gear for accomplishing some goals with out the headaches from back home. I decided on my own free will when to go to college and what courses I chose without any input from others around. I dedcided to take the HCA course because its something everyone should know. How to take care of a person in need. One day our parents, children, friends, siblings or other people will be sick and will need assistance. I took this course so I know how to take better care of myself and others making good enough money to get me the next stage in my life. It isn't my chosen lifetime career but it is my career for now. It will introduce me into other positions I might want to fill later in life that would take more education. But for now I will work at this and see where it takes me. If you are still a student, just put your mind to it and you will get it done. I started September 2007 and Finished a year later. I had been off school for 3 months after having 2 surgeries. I did my work from home and worked with doctor's and the school to have the school accommodate me so I wouldn't loose my year. I finished the course with a 86 percent receiving honors. So put your brain into it and finish what you guys have started. It'd a great feeling to walk past your school and know you finished something hard that you started.

Congratulations! Great job in finishing with honors! I recently finished MBA too. Tough working Weeknights and staying up for masters class for 13 hours every weekend but I made it. Looking forward to taking a part-time job in the academe and/or taking PhD or another Masters course. Great day!
