Best responses = do you enjoy getting them?

I have no idea whether best responses add to one's money, but the money is only a bonus for doing something I enjoy which keeps me busy in my dotage without using up much energy. But I do get a real kick out of a best response, I suppose because it suggests that I have had something of value to add to the discussion. I also see them as counteracting the fact that my star keeps dropping from time to time (and also going back up, I might mention, I feel something like a yoyo).
Do others feel the same way, or do you not care about them? And do you give best responses or just let all your discussions sit in the unresolved category?

I am not sure if we earn anything from them or not but I do not care. I do like getting them as they make me feel good and I feel that I have contributed to the discussion in a positive way.
As for giving best responses. I always give them. I tend to wait a few days now before giving one out but I go back to my unresolved discussions all the time to check for new responses and eventually to add a best response.

I really do enjoy getting them. It makes me feel like something I have said has really mattered,a nd possibly made a difference to someone. It's a nice feeling and although I don't get them very often, it's always a thrill when it happens!

Hi! I do believe that best response/s are being paid. I am not a regular poster here at myLot. Once, I opened my account and found myself being paid for two best responses I got the previous day. I got paid a cent each. I did not log on that previous day but still got 2 cents, so it must be the two best responses that I just received (upon notification via my e-mail). I like getting best responses because I feel appreciated and valued for my response. I also like giving best responses. By the way, I think you're doing great. You only have 240 points but you already have a 7-star rating. Happy myLotting!

i like getting best responses. i can't imagine anybody not liking them. i don't know if they had to your money or not.have a good one.

Hi there. Of course, it feels satisfying when I earn best response marks from people whose discussions I replied to. It gives me some sort of sense of accomplishment and boosts my morale somewhat. Of course, it does help that earning best response marks adds to my earnings but nothing can beat the feeling of being satisfied with what you have done.
I've rarely resolved my discussions by choosing a best response but, when I feel that a post indeed warrants such mark, then I give it to the poster.

i enjoy getting "best response" and last week, i got two best responses in a row, i am so very happy thinking that someone appreciated my opinion and helped them on something and it did add some confidence on my part that motivated me to become a better myloter. though i am no longer online as i used to be, i am still hoping to help others here, and even if my star is changing its color and its number is decreasing, it will continue to shine to be of service to others lol..

I have been blessed to have been awarded the best response in a lot of discussions. And even though getting the Best Response doesn't make us earn more here at myLot, the fact that our opinion is appreciated by other people is already a good reward. It may not be monetary in nature but it's all worth it. Personally, I give work on my unresolved discussions and give the BR to whoever is most eligible, based on my standards. Well, there are still those that remain in my list of unresolved discussions.

I am not sure if getting a best response adds to my earnings. I sometimes get the best response and I feel good. Though there are discussions that I am the only one who responded and I got the best response. I still feel good.

If I'm not mistaken according to a friend of mine it actually adds something to your earnings. No idea of how much though. Just like you getting a best response makes me feel that the information I provide others are actually appreciated. Something that adds up to your personal conviction. It also makes me confident of the things that I want to say that is related to the topic or some other topics similar to it.

I feel good when I get a best response. I enjoy the site very much and not for the money but because I love interacting and discussing topics with others. I feel like when I get a best response it makes me feel lke my time and thoughts were appreciated. I also try to make sure I give them out on each of mine discussions so other people can enjoy this too!

I'm happy and enjoy get them. But that isn't my purpose to response the discussion. I hope that may response can help them in celaring the problem. I always give the best response for my each discussion. So it won't make my unresolved box full.

I do believe best responses are making my self to stay in the cloud nine. It makes my spirit high and tend to boast my will to give my responses more than I used to. Yes it makes sense to me when I learn that others love my responses. I can't be hypocrite not to ignore them, best responses are of great importance for me.

I also don't think that we earn from getting the best response but the feel is good. And the confidence level is also increased.
