Cricket World Cup played in South Africa from February 9 to March 24 in the year 2003 was the first time that the Cricket World Cup held in Africa. The tournament featured 14 teams and 54 matches. The tournament was won by Australia who defeated India in the final. Sachin Tendulkar"Star of India" In World Cup 2003, India played well and reached in the final. Sachin played a major in bringing India in the final. He played outstandingly throughout the series, supported well by team whenever required. He was adjured 3 times as "Man of the Match" and also the one and only "Man of the Series". Saurav Ganguly, captain of Indian cricket team of that series also played well and scored two centuries and one half century. Sachin scored 664 runs with an outstanding average of 69.41 creating a world record of most number of runs scored by any player in world Cup including one century and four half centuries. In that series Sachin showed best of his forms. Indian team fought nicely in every and won consecutively 8 matches. Sachin and Indian Cricket team performed nicely in 2003 series which would be remembered by every Cricket and Sachin fan. This is something which is never been achieved by any player and to get such a record not only skills but also a lot of determination is required. So I think when the Australian wicket keeper questions his honesty, it is something which is not a human thing to do. If you question his honesty and his cricket then you are only a fool. Ok he might have walked off the crease without the umpire’s decision but that has happened with Sachin too. I still remember, in Sarjah when he was about to get a 4th century of the five matches he played he was out and umpire failed to recognize the knick. But he walked. Well some one who is in his 90’s and walks is self explanatory.

He is the best considering his records. But Bradman was great. He is being playing for almost two decades now.Consider Ricky and Dravid. They have played for a decade and they are almost as great as him in their own right

yes i agree about the number of matches he played. and so i think not only Brad man (there is no comparison) but even he is not better than Brain Lara. When he broke the number of runs scored by Lara, Sachin has played 10 or 15 matches more than him. And so if we go by the avg. of Lara, if he would have played that many more matches then he could have scored 1000 more runs and that means a lot of time for sachin again.

No one can deny that Sachin is the best in the world. The most important thing which made him best is his patience through his batting. He is never affected by the change in bowling or pitch. He stands there and work out with the ball till the last moment and that leads a team to win. He is also a powerful hitter of the ball.
