How do you pay respect to your dead relatives? Do you practice such action? Here, in the Philippines we do rites during November 1 and 2. Families visit their relatives' burial grounds to pray and offer candles and flowers. a week before November first, me and my family go to the cemetery and clean the surroundings of our relatives' burial ground in preparation for our visit. we also do visit them every two months apart from the regular November visit.

Yes, we go to the cemetery and put flowers and candles and light candles in the small chapel of the cemetery. Then at home we light candles for those departed we are not able to visit their graves because they're buried someplace else. I have also noticed that there's a disco for most nights before Novemebr 1st beside the cemetery. It's very unrespectful really.
