Should i use "I really like you" for a girl i like?

I like a girl, and i'm going to her party soon. she likes me that's why she invited me!! She said she ain't got a boyfriend and said if i am gonna ask he out?
should i tell her i like her through CHATTING! like im talking to her then i tell her i like her, wouldn't be a good idea?

Yes, it would be a good idea :).
It may be quite hard to say it out, but when you've done it , it feels just so good.
Just be brave and dont hesitate, because it's always good and important to say things out. It makes everything easier.
