making MONSTER cookies today

My son is upstairs with the recipe right now and he is getting out all of the ingredients to make them. He is eager to help me make them. Plus, the bonus for me of him having to read the recipe. HA!! He just yelled down to me, "Mom, where is the grinded sugar?" I had to laugh at that one. Have you ever had MONSTER cookies? When was the last time you baked cookies with a child?

Sounds like fun. Kids and hubby made the slice-able sugar cookies. These have ghosts on them. The only Monster cookies I have eaten come from my friend who works at the Ritz.

When I worked in a nursery as part of my training for my NVQ3 the children loved to bake! We didn't make cookies, but we made gingerbread men! Apart from all the mess the children made they had a fantastic time! Each had a turn at mixing the mixture, each had a turn at adding the ingredients so they all took part, and the best of it was they all got to take their gingerbread men home!
