Breakfast in bed..A great way to start the day

It is Sunday morning here and I was surprised by my hubby with a nice breakast in bed.
He made eggs, bacon, toast and a yummy cup of coffee for me.
He brought it in on a tray and place a white daisy in a small vase.
I thought it was completely sweet and it made me feel special and very cared about.
I have also made him breakfast in bed in the past.
It's a little thing that doesn't take a lot of time to do.
My biggest problem in returning this favor will be waking before him.
He has always been a early riser and I like to sleep in on the weekends..
His favorite breakfast would be pancakes with strawberries and cream.
Hopefully I can wake up before him on of these Sunday mornings!Have you received breakfast in bed or have you made it for someone else?

No breakfast in bed for us as i and my wife both get up early and go for a long walk at 5.15 AM. When we return, we sit and have a cup of tea and then breakfst after an hour. on holidays we have breakfast quite late, some time around 10 AM. We have tea around 7 AM and sit and read the news paper for an hour. Tht is the most relaxing part of a holiday.

I have never been fortunate enough to have breakfast in bed, but oh what a sweet way to start the day. You sound like you have quite the hubby there...things like that make all the little not so nice things that our spouses or partners may do, all worth it...I hope you enjoyed it and I am sure there will be many more to come.
I also have never made breakfast for my hubby in bed, as he always told me he wouldnt physically be comfortuable sitting up in the bed and wouldnt be able to enjoy the meal...otherwise i would do it a few times a yr probably

Unfortunately i nevre experienced that, im sure that so sweet and you feel so special when your hubby did that to you, how romantic, isn't it? How i wish one day my hubby do that to me, but it's impossible, he is not romantic or even sweet. He hardly show that sweetness to me. I don't know why, maybe he just don't like it and he is not the type of the man. Well im so jealous to you. Happy posting.
