So I was contacted by an old High School classmate about a reunion they will be planning in mid 2009. It will be the first I have ever attended if I decide to go.. The idea seems really fun. I pulled out my old HS yearbook and wondered who will come and what they are like today. I moved across county not too long after college so many of these people I have lost contact with. I wonder if I would even recognize some of my old classmates. There are definitely some people I would be so excited to reconnect with so hopefully they will attend.. Have you gone to one of your High School reunions and what was the experience like??

I have never been to one of my highschool reunions and I never plan to go to one. I didn't like those kids when I was in school so I sure as heck don't want to see them know. The only one I liked was my best friend and she does not go to them either. I never want to go back to taht school.

I agree...I didn't like half of them when I had to be around them, so I surely am not going to drive seven hours to be with them...LOL

I have never went to any School reunions. I think most of the kids in my class where mean. I only had two really good friends at School, and do not really ever want to meet most of those people again. I do not think I would recognise, anyone from school. No. I would never go to a High School reunion. I am sure most of the mean kids at School turned out fine, but i still would not like to meet them.

I have never gone to a reunion. I live out of state now. I have no real desire to see anyone from high school, accept maybe one person. I didn't enjoy high school; it wasn't a very good place to be a different kid (and I was).

I didn't get a high school reunion because the idiots who were in charge of it didn't do what they were supposed to do and organize it and it never happened. They didn't even tell anyone it wasn't going to happen. I traveled to my home town thinking it was happening and nothing did. Boy was I ever mad at these people when I got back. It wasn't right for them to do that!

hello there, i have never been to any of our high school reunion. i have always been invited but never attended. LOL. most of my closest friends are not coming as well so i am not in the mood of attending. maybe on our silver high school reunion i might reconsider. i think after several years and as we all grow maturely the looks may change a lot.

I went to my ten year reunion and didn't enjoy it so I haven't gone to one since. All the people who were snobs in HS were still snobs. And all my friends had moved on to bigger towns and didn't show up. So I ended up chatting with a bunch of people I barely remembered and had no interest in really knowing. Last year was my 30th and I even skipped it. Who knows, maybe in 2017 I'll go for my 40th reunion and see how many of us are still above ground. LOL

I never got invited, only if they know my new address. It's a good idea and I might consider to come and meet old friends although it would cost me fair bit to travel back again for a high school reunion.

Yes I have. I went to my five year, 10 year and 20 year. I was looking forward to the 25 year reunion, but they never had one. One of the interesting, not to mention sad things at the 20 year is the list and pictures of students who have passed away.

I haven't been to a highschool reunion. Thought it has been 14 years since I graduated we haven't had one from my knowledge. Even if there were to be one, it wouldn't be likely I would go. For one, my old highschool is gone. Number 2, I live 2000 kms away from my home city and that would be way to far to go for a reunion. And third and most important, is I don't care to see any of those people now. If they were real friends we would have stayed in contact but really it was just not that close. I think long time ago when there wasn't internet or flat rate long distance plans it was more fun to have reunions because you may have lost contact due to a lack of communications availability. Now a days these old schoolmate are on everyones facebook, sending tons of fowards. LOL

Last year, I had a high school reunion. At that time, all the high school classmates got together, to meet the big chance in our lives. For we were all the senior students in the university and would start our social experience after that. Now i think it is hard to find a time to have such a reunion, for we are all busy with our new lives, and have to work all the day to make a better life. Now I still remember the happy time, and everyone there worried and be excited about the life will be. I hope everyone is Ok, and ten years late, we will have a great reunion.

I had a graduation class of 32 people. I have never been to a class of 1980 reunion, but I have gone to two all school reunions. I did not see too many of my classmates. I did not enjoy high school much, but it would have been nice to see a few of my old friends. Not sure I would have much in common anymore. I would not go back to my own class reunion, though. I may be 46 years old, but there are certain people who would still bother me!

I have never been to a highschool reunion and have absolutly no ambition to go lol. My highschool years are not my greatest of memories I did not like any of the kids when I went to school with them they were all stuck up so I have no ambition to see them now. I went to a private chatholic rich kids school on scholorship needless to say that means my family did not have money so I did not fit in to thier society at all. The best thing that happened to me during that time is the day I graduated and left that school behind and never went back lol.
