You have to learn to identify a leader. The American people deserves better, I believe that Barack Obama can lead you out of the crisis that you are experiencing which has been extended to all the economies of the world. The signs are there, endorse him too.

i think he will make our country better. he seem like he really knows how bad the economy is and he seems like he really wants to change it. so many presidents in the past though have made all these promises about changing but they never do thats why its hard to believe them. but i believe that obama will make our country better. i think mcain will be just like bush if he is elected for president.

I must point out to you that i am from the outside looking in, and like many others we find that alot of the foreigners who have never put their feet on the American soil, believes that if we were in the shoes of eligible voters that we would vote for BArack Obama because he has shown in his demeanor, mannerism, and by his character that he is the man for the job as president of the united states. The rest of the world is for u, but we are appealing to the people who have votes to vote Barack Obama for president of the United States of American, the Dream land.

I think he is probably a good choice - in the eyes of other countries - and for their benefit. As for the united States, I do not believe that is true.

Theres change and then theres change. Change for it's own sake is never good. Obviously we need a change here, things have gotten so far away from what our founders intended and with it, our nation has started going right down the toilet. The change Obama means, I use his name because you used it in advocating a leader for us, not that a foriegn endorsement means squat to me or many in this country. But the change Obama represents is a fundamental change in our foundations. A change to a more European style government system. Which is probably why so many in Europe love him and think he's the best thing for this country. Well, we AREN'T Europe. We were founded to NOT be Europe. We're only as screwed up now as we are because we drifted away from our original princibles and moving exponentialy further from them is NOT the change we need. what we need is a return to those original princibles which made us great. Here we stand again, on the verge of another election. and after over a hundred years of electing the same 2 parties in to office, we are ready to elect one of the same 2 again. How is selecting one of the same 2 parties over and over again change?

You are so correct - our government is nothing like what our founding fathers planned for it to be - check out this link for some more perspective on this: http://www.lawatchdog.com/SecondRevolution071108.html

As someone on the outside looking in I don't think you are qualified to give us advice. Obama is part of this problem we are experiencing economically. There are so many things that I don't like about Obama that it would take a huge space to list them all. I agree with almost none of his policies. I think that he is a liar and a crook. But the main thing that has me upset right now is his unwillingness to produce a vaulted copy of his birth certificate proving that he is even eligible by our constitution to run for president of this country. There are a few questions surrounding this, some think he was really born in Kenya and his mother was not old enough to secure his American citizenship according to the laws in 1961. The other possibility is that he was adopted by his step father and is Indonesian. Instead of supplying a real birth certificate to the court where a lawsuit was recently shot down he is trying his best to keep from showing it. And by the way, the lawsuit was rejected due to not having standing but the lawyer has vowed to take it to the Supreme Court. And eight other lawsuits have been filed plus numerous petitions are circulating. Nobama for me and he can keep the change!

I totally agree! If there isn't something to hide there should be no problem.

I am not sure that the type of "change" that Obama will bring to our country is the kind that we need. He has taken monumental amounts of money from American people who believe in his rhetoric for the funding of his campaign in a time when most American people are financially hurting. Just imagine what good that amount of money could have done towards helping those who have been put out of their homes by foreclosure or who are in risk of losing their homes. Now, as the election quickly approaches, he is planning an elaborate victory party - spending 2M just to pay the City of Chicago for the services that they will be providing on election night. His campaign evidently has indicated that the election of an African American as President of the United States is a historic event and should be celebrated as such. We do not need leaders who are more interested in spending money on their own account than they are in helping their fellow citizens in a time of great need.

He certainly isn't leading by example. If he wins you'll be able to hear "gimme, gimme, gimme" echoing through the lands.

Well there is good change and bad change. I am not convienced that Obama is the best person for hte job. But then I do think McCain is either. Both are talking about how they are going going to spend more money on this program or that program but neither is saying how they are going to balance the budget or get rid of our record deficit. What ever happened to fiscal responsibility? Both are just talking about digging the hole we are in deeper.

I think the government pretty much dug us into eternal debt with the 700 million dollars they decided to spend to bail out the mortgage companies - not one dollar of which has yet to be used. This was supposed to be a big stimulus to the economy - to jumpstart things again - it was supposedly needed IMMEDIATELY and there was eminent danger of the world economy crashing it if wasn't passed - and weeks later not one dollar of this money has hit the streets.

I wouldn't count on much change. When it comes down to it both of the big parties are the same people. I mean come on Obama even has George Bush's speech habits..."Change we need" ??? wtf? been speaking english long?

If there are to be changes under his proposed leadership, I do not believe that they will be of benefit to the general population.
