Do you play for the badge, even if you do not like the game?

I know sometimes when I am in a room playing for a badge, I hear people complaining that they hate the game, and cannot wait until they get the badge and get out of there.
Do you do that, play a game JUST because there is a badge at stake? For myself, I can say yes and no. There are some games I like more than others, but if I know how to play the game well, I will probably play for the badge even though I am not crazy about the game. Games like Stack-em, Makeover Madness and a couple others, i ONLY play when there is a badge.
But if there is a game I cannot play, or have absolytly no interest in, I just will not try for the badge. For example, I cannot play Texas Hold em Poker, cribbage, gin, and those type games, so I do not even bother with the badges.
So, it means some of my yearly badge albums will never be filled, but I will live. My daughter in law and a couple friends have said they would play for my badges for me. But I say no for a couple reasons. FIRST..I do not give my password to anyone. Second, I only want a badge that I, myself, have earned, not one someone else has earned for me.

I play for the badge even when I hate the game. lol. I just like to get as money badges as I can to add to my collection of them. I have been on pogo for quite a few years now and have alot. I never used to play them when I didn't like them/know them but now I do. I feel it gives varity and I learn to play new games on ones I had never played before.

I had a real life friend tell me once I should use a cheat program to get badges. But I would rather not do that. If I cannot play the game, I would rather just not get the badge rather than cheat to get it.
I have been playing a lot more for badges in the last year or so because I have had more time. But I have found that now that the Mix and Match Badges are available, I do not play the personal challenge as much. Plus, most of the games I play, I have the weekly badge for already.

Yea I play for the badge even if it's a game I do not like. I stick to it until the badge is complete. But sometimes if it's a game I can't stand and I get frustrated with then I'll see if one of my friends can finish the badge 4 me. I'll start it for them though so their not donig the whole badge themselfs. Then in return I do a badge 4 them if they need help and don't have time to complete them.

I try for the badge even if I don't like the game but if I just can't figure the game out I give up and go onto something else. I could not get the cribbage bag as I could not figure out how to win that game for anything so I wouldn play that. I don't like Makeover Madness either but is is really easy so if their is a badge I will play it.

If I hate the game, I'll still go for the badge. Even if it's Chess or Ali Baba Slots, I'll play it and hope I get lucky. Then I'll never touch the game again until there's another challenge. For some reason it bugs me if I don't do it. It can be a bit frustrating but it's a relief when it's over and done with.
