You know i really like the coconuts, the young coconuts for the salads or fruit salads. But the problem is i can't find one here in Uk shops. Do you know where to buy those? I really miss it and im fancy to eat fruit salad using my own recipe of making it. Anybody can help me? Thanks. Happy posting.

Why don't you come to Bahia? I feel myself lucky living in a country that is so easy to find any kind of fruit. I live in a house with a big area where we have many kind of plants. Including some that give fruits like: mango, passion fruit, cashew aaaand ... Coconut! Yeah: I have some coconut trees here, in my house. And i don't give them the value they deserve...

It's gonna be hard unless u go to those asian stores, but it's gonna be expensive too.. For chinese food and brands are always much more expensive there.. Furthermore, coconut is such a nice fruit and sweet, thus, the price is gonna be high ^_^ IF not, maybe u can choose to use nata de coco instead.. It's a processed type of coconut except that the taste is not as strong ^_^ BUt still, it will give u some coconut smell.. hehe

Your right, asian store here really had a higher price and sold thier products so expensive it's better to buy English foods that to eat Filipino or asian foods so you can save. I will try nata de coco, coz i have found one. Cheers!

Oh I wonder why you cant get coconuts in the UK I would have thought you could buy anything in the UK, and I have never thought of using coconut in salads, that sounds so unusual, summer is coming here in Australia and i have a lot of salads and I am going to try to include coconut, do you shred it or just have it in pieces..

Also look up Shazzie - the raw food lady in the UK. I know she sells Doctor Martin's coconut juice and she will probably have coconuts if she can get them. Or there may be links on her pages to other places that will have them.
