Are you starting to like Sylar.... even if you really don't want to?

Watching last week's episode of Heroes, I realized that I was sympathizing with Sylar. I wanted Peter to let Sylar help him. I wanted Sylar to become that loving dad of the future. I want Sylar and Peter to pat each other on the back and call each other "bro." But how can that be!! This is the guy that just episodes ago was cutting off the top of Claire's head! What are you thinking about Sylar these days?

I can't believe it when I first saw the Sylar of the future. However, I've always hoped he'd become a good guy because he was simply misunderstood. When he said his hunger was the result of his highly developed brain, I felt pity for him because somehow I am just like him. I was hoping he and Peter would work together but, no, Peter is too impulsive and too proud to let that happen. And he was always the one that gets tricked everytime!

I hope that you aren't cutting the top of people's heads off, lol. I like the changing Syler, he's more humorous. I think that's why I'm starting to like him. I'm a sucker for a funny man!

I take back my earlier comment about Peter being too proud and impulsive. I think he cares about Sylar more than we know. He saw the future. I think he's keeping Sylar imprisoned to make sure that future comes into fruition and so he goes alone to Pinehearst. Spoilers, spoilers. It may be Sylar who'll bail him out of there.

Peter has become a little.... Anyway, Sylar now is changing and I believe he will be the hero to save them all.

i agree, i remember in episode 4 or 5 where their mom said something about seeing the future and that sylar would play an important role if he could just control his power...really looking forward to the rest of the season!

haha, I understand what you mean .... it is very interesting to see how his character progresses .... even in the recent episode, we see that he didn't really mean to have that "hunger" , that he is a bit misunderstood

I actually am starting to like Sylar now. I hated him before, I love the show, but thought he was a really annoying villain. So despite my aversion to him, I am starting to like him. Mohinder, on the other hand I am not enjoying at all. Same deal too, I liked him a lot before.

Yep, I'm with you on Mohnder. He is so self absorbed. I can't believe he just injected himself like that. His story line is the only part of this season that I am not digging,

Nah... i like evil Sylar. He gives some kind of an edge to the serie. The old Petrelly dude is not half as scary as Sylar was.

Ugh, yes! I spent all of last season saying Sylar should die, he never should have made it past the first season. I was bored with him and felt he outlived his usefulness as a character and a villain. And, then, they had to have him trying to be good. And, that made him interesting! (Well, technically, I thought he was semi interesting when he was paired up with Noah and they were like a comedy duo detective team) Now I want to see him working to change and I felt (and it feels like a guilty confession even saying it) bad for him this past episode because he was so worried about Angela Petrelli. No! Sylar is evil and bad and I don't like him. I don't. I don't. I don't. But, I'm afraid I might.

I always liked Sylar so much even if he was so evil.....don't know why but i thought he was the most important character in the show. And I was damn right.he is turning out to be the hero among the villains. And seeing what happened to Peter when he stole sylar's power I now sympathize with sylar's previous hunger for power. Before I thought that he did it only to acquire other's power but now I know that he was like a vampire who needs blood to live. And now as he has learned to control his hunger he is becoming more and more favourate

yeah im liking Sylar quite a bit now lol! he made the leap from "crazy psycho killer" to "messed up in the head by his ability". and like someone else mentions..his dad certainly isnt a saint now is he? i was rather annoyed with Peter and how he was WARNED about the hunger and warned that he could become a monster..he insisted the HE was right no matter what and just went ahead with taking Sylar's power. and then refuses the help thats being offered..even if its from the person he hates..its still help with what he obviously is having a hard time controlling! Mohinder is a total turn off for me now. he also insisted he was right, and now wants to be able to give everybody powers...and he is killing ppl and turning into some weird spider guy or something lol! im still bummed that they killed Adam though! i thought he would have a bigger role somehow.

haha, yea, i totally know wat u mean!! at the end of season 2, i totally hated sylar because he was such a horrible person; manipulating and killing people to get his powers back. but now, i'm like no!! save peter!!!! since it seems like peter's totally screwed. guess we'll find out wat happens tonight at 9:00 XD

I am loving Sylar these days! I loved the character from the start (hehe, weird me) and I love the way he makes a u-turn and so does Claire. I would love to see a romantic relationship with Sylar, but I still don't trust the character fully. I love what the script writers have done

I'm a fan of Sylar since since season one but when i saw sylar future edition, he's a good person inside. He became evil just because the 'hunger' that controlled him from season 1. I think on season 3, sylar is trying to control his 'hunger' for powers. On my opinion, he will be one of the villains that becomes heroes this time. Reminds me of Vegeta when i see sylar.

I'm looking forward to see the good daddy that syler is going to become. He can control his ability, he no longer feel hunger and etc. What a good guy!
