to flunk the examination several times means low iq?

Hi mylotters,this happen to my friends shes taking the board examinations for teachers (3) times but she always failed till she discouraged to take back for shes been teasing that she has a low IQ. Is this so? wat do you think?

Common sense will show that there is no relation between IQ and education. Education just tests how well you can remember what you have read and write it down on paper again in the exam.

I believe it's not related to IQ. Maybe it simply means she's not made for that kind of job. Failure happens everytime but it's not the end. Maybe she's better with another job or study.

No I don't think that is the case, the people who do well in exams are the ones that simply have a good memory, if you have a good memory you can remember facts and figures that does not meanthey know the meaning of what they are writing..commonsense which is something you don't really learn at school will do a person a lot more in this world than high marks in exams...

hi Luchie, im sorry to hear that about your friend, but i don't think it has anything to do with her IQ. some people can study and study and know every detail about whatever subject they studied but when it comes to taking a test, they panic and their mind goes blank. i know many people who have this problem yet when they are tested before the test from a friend or parent they know absolutley everything and then just blank out when it comes to the test. she shouldn't get discouraged, i wish her luck for next time!
