Hi as the question goes which one do you like ? Desktop or Laptop, I like watching movies, playing games on my desktop but as far as work goes lappy seems to be a good option. we can easily carry anywhere we go, But still some times desktop feels good because typing and handling is easy there :D, May be its due to the fact that I am not much used to laptop. How about you people?

When it's doing presentations and other things while traveling, the laptop will always be handy for those. But when working on something else, like editing photos, movies and the sort (or even creating presentations) I'd rather use the desktop, maybe it's because the desktop gives you some sort of freedom with your fingers and hands, the laptop's keyboard is just too close to each other, or simply the monitor is too close to your fingers or face, unlike in the desktop when you can actually adjust to your preference. Plus of course, not to mention that the desktop has a bigger or wider monitor plus good playing speakers than the laptop. Plus, you don't get to worry if it's running out of battery or simply going too hot for it to handle. So that's it, I do prefer my desktop than a laptop for anything I work on. Of course, nothing beats the laptop for traveling presentations etc. (but of course, more often than not, companies do have their in-house desktop or laptop for use).

Thanks for your response, Yeah I agree that laptops are lot easier to carry when you are on your business trips and for presentations, but its just the ease with which we can handle desktops makes me love them lol :)

Yeah ofcoz desktops rock when you see that they offer a lot of freedom in their use, you don't have to be careful while using them and typing is lot easier in desktop, but as you know laptops have their own advantage when you are a professional and want to carry it on your business trips while making presentations etc.

When I was to buy my computer. I have two choices, desktop or laptop? I chose desktop, because I think it is more comfortable for me and I just like it, though laptop eats less space. But then, when I stepped in college I want to have a laptop. I want to bring it in my school in our library so that if I have nothing to do I will turn on my laptop and surf the net and I also want to have a laptop because it has a little fashion and of course it is handy.

Laptop and desktop doesn't need to be compare because desktop and laptop usefulness lies on the purpose and needs of every computer user.
