Laptop is preferred if you are on the go. While if you are more of a stay at home kind or a student then a PC is preferred. Also if you are more of a gaming type its better to use a PC Its quite annoying to play games on a laptop and run out of battery power within minutes. Also the action games requiring a mouse would be hard to use the touch pad.

i want to get a laptop so badly! I have always wanted one. I like my desktop but wish it was portable and I could use it elsewhere.

I love desktop in my office or at home, but I prefer to use a laptop if I am travelling outside..Desktops seems more comfort to use than laptops coz they usually have larger monitors and keyboards.

I like my laptop, because I am always travelling, so it helps me keep in touch and get work done. That being said, desktops are so much nicer for videogames and all.

laptop is a form of personal computer and i have both and i prefer laptop because it is portable and if one talks about the memory then we can increase it and there are usb hard drives and they can be used for it.and the ram can also be increased and you can use all the other hardware on the laptop that you use with a desktop pc and no problem. but a couple of problems 1 is money and 2 is battery. they lay the laptop off but now there are cheap laptops coming and they are being tested in India and Toshiba is making batteries that will be fully charged in just 10 minutes. it is good to have a Toshiba laptop for me lol. i use both but i prefer laptop. good luck

I prefer table top as there is no need to charge batteries and moreover I have it fixed in the comfort of my computer room.

While it's true that laptop computers have come a long way in terms of usability and processing power, desktop computers still have advantages in several areas. For one, they're quite a bit cheaper than laptops, about $200-300 cheaper depending on which models you're looking at. Another advantage to a desktop computer is screen size. With a laptop computer you're restricted to the size of the attached screen while with most desktops, the sky's virtually the limit when it comes to display size.
