Taking a long drive in my car with the air conditioner on with my favorite music has always helped me to overcome my sadness.

Well, I used to go to sleep when i feel sad.. Sometimes,I want to be with my boyfriend, spending time together.. Sometimes also I want to be with my friends since they know how to makes me happy and they are really fun to be with.. Well, my friends hate talking about problems and emoting.. They just want to enjoy our bondings and laugh all day.. And it is very easy for them to think of any jokes.. So, my mood will changed when I'm with them.. Well, if my friends are not available I just used to play computer games or watched comedy or horror movies, it also changed my mood..

When I am in the mood like what you mention, I will just sing inspiring hymns and read inspiring books and I will feel better and in a normal way of thinking. I can beat up depress by reading good books and singing inspiring hymn songs.

I am glad that I seem to have gotten over the sad and unhappy phase of my life. I don't feel sad too often and I would certainly think of something positive and good about my life if ever I felt sad. It works in making me happy again. Cheers!!

Hi. Well, thank God that I'm not deep inside sad too often. But when I am, I definitely try to cheer myself up. Some of the things I do are: Phone a close friend and get the problem off my chest, play lively upbeat music (especially my "old jams", read a good book, take a nap and try it all over again when I awaken, if I'm really sad I have a good cry, get on the internet, (mylot is a good place to start), go for a long walk, watch a good movie or watch a series of good comedy sitcoms, or go shopping with someone or alone, and last but not least, if you have a spouse, or boyfriend or girl friend tell them that you need to cuddle or a hug. So you see, there are lot of things to do to make yourself happy again. I've always believed in finding ways (that I know) will cheer me up; because most of the time if you wait for someone else to do it, they may take too long, or don't know how.

Yes, they sure will. We have to initiate this ourselves at times.. It takes us to stand up for our own self!

I usually listen to music, do some housework, or just surfing the internet. Sometimes I talk to my boyfriend about the trouble, then he comforts me, which makes me happy.

I close my door. I turn on my pc. Then I play my music loud with my sound system while I'm playing my games too. You know sometimes playing NFS or somekind of racing or fighting game is a good idea.

When I'm sad, I cuddle with my Chihuahuas. They always seem to sense it when I'm upset or sad. They calm me and always make me feel better. I usually listen to some music too if my mood goes South. And depending on what time of day it is, sometimes I go for a walk on the beach. Something about the sound of the waves lapping against the shore, the smell of the salt air and the ocean that seems to go on forever, just makes me feel better.

If the weathers OK, I walk my dog! Either on the beach, up on the fells or the woods or just in the fields. It takes me 10 minutes to walk to the nearest beach and I find just sitting and watching the sea and listening to the waves relaxing. The dog always knows how I feel and she tends to start playing around and does silly things that she knows will cheer me up. If it's late or really bad weather I like to sit in a darkened room and listen to music, whilst watching my fish and frogs swimming around their tanks. I also have cats and they know when I'm sad and always come and keep me company too. I find my pets the greatest anti-depressants ever and it's a great way of keeping my blood pressure down.

When I am sad, I usually listen to loud music. I dance until I get tired. If this is not possible, I drink coffee and think and think and think until all the sadness are gone and think again but this time thinking of the blessings that I have. I have so many ways to relieve my stress. If I am very sentimental, I write it, if the sadness is nonsense I just let it go by walking around and taking a sip of coffee. But I make sure it doesn't ruin my day. If its super sad, I cry then sleep ten when I wake up, I'm pretty and smiling again. I know that problems are always there but it shouldn't get my way. I need to refresh myself so that I could think of a way to solve it. So I do these things to refresh my brain so I could solve my sadness. Take care =)

Let's see....I listen to some good tunes, and maybe do a little dance ha ha. Look at my sisters' pictures of her dog when she was a puppy, other baby pictures, play my xbox 360, txt some friends to vent, anything really.
