I was diagnosed with Fibrocystic Breast Disease at 20. I haven't had much trouble since then and I am now 22. Well, about 3 months ago, I went to the doctor because I had a knot where my right breast bone is. I was sent for a mammogram and a ultrasound of my breast tissue. At the time only the knot on my right side hurt. I was put on a "Prednisone Pack" to cause the cyst to 'dissolve'. They also saw 3 spots in my left breast tissue that wasn't bothering me and they said it looked fine. Well, I have had severe headaches for 2 months- doctor put me on medicine and gave me an Emergency medicine for when they are really bad. If it doesn't get better in the next week, he is suppose to do an MRI to check to see if my neck is causing the headaches. ANYWAYS, now my knot is back on the right breastbone and where the 3 spots were on my left breast is killing me and is swollen. It is hurting me so much, that I am sleeping with a heating pad on my chest. Well, my first question is: is it normal to have a knot in the bottom of my armpit where it meets my breast that can only be felt when my arm is raised? Is these normal for Fibrocystic Breast Disease? Look, I'm 22 and have great health- until lately. I am just really tired of hurting. BTW: I have a 4 yr. old daughter, and had a breast aug. 2 years ago. I had it done after I was diagnosed w/ fibrocystic breast disease because I was told the implants wouldn't mess with the fibrocystic breast disease, but could possibly help with the pain from it. My aunt and great-aunt on my dad's side had breast cancer. PLEASE NO RUDE COMMENTS!! It doesn't hurt to be nice.

When a doctor was told my his patient that his ailment is from his family bloodline, the doctor responded, of course, because as family you eat the same food, so you will have the same ailment! Khen, when I felt pain, I place wet towel over that painful area to ease the pain. When you felt pain, there is an inflamation on that area, so because it enlarged, the nerves and muscles are pressed, it results to pain. Am not a doctor, but based on my experience, about pains, I use water remedies. When the outer covering of heart was enlarged, I eat mushroom because it is best in eliminating toxins, reduced to normal any enlargements. If fresh mushroom is not available in your area, if you're interested I will recommend a mushroom in capsules.

HI khenson, honestly, I feel for you. My mom suffered cancer too. We jumped from one therapy to another. But our worst mistake was to do things on our own without proper consultation. I know u r goin thru a lot of pain and discomfort. But I hope you are open to this suggestion. Yes we failed with my mom because we strayed off BIG-TIME! But it might help you. Please try this website and even if you won't follow the things said there, at least it will help shed some light on what some people believe as the cause of many of today's modern illnesses especially cancer. Although I learned as I read through your post that yours isn't really cancerous but nevertheless, it has caused you pain, and discomfort and dysfunction in many aspects of your life. I hope you aren't closing your mind to other options that may even be against your doctor's recommendations. But please don't try almost anything that anyone prescribes. It might harm you more than benefit you. And please, if you are taking Vitamin C, choose the ascorbic acid. Stay away from SODIUM and Calcium ascorbate forms of vitamin C. The website is www.drday.com. Please just consider it. There's really no harm in trying.Okay!
