Did anyone get to see the Oliver Stone movie "W"? I was going to see it, but my weekend didn't allow, so I am curious about what kind of slant the movie had. I am still thinking of seeing it, but some of the reviews make me wonder if it is really worth my time. Was it pro or anti Bush? Stone said he tried to remain objective and give a balanced view of the life of President Bush. If you saw the movie, what impressed you about it?

I have not seen the movie yet. I really do not trust movies that say they remain objective because usually they are not, especially if they are about Republicans. So I will wait until I read the reviews and if then, I might see if when it comes on the movie channel.

Thanks for your input. I am also going by the reviews because I don't want to pay my money at the box office supporting a film that will be harmful to candidates that deserve my support.

I have not seen it. Supposedly, it is doing badly at the box office and the rumor is it stinks. I will wait until it is available on cd before watching it.

That's good advice. If I haven't completely written off the movie as a dud by the time it goes to dvd, I'll see it then.

I found it to be boring and pointless. The leads are good as Bush and Laura Bush, but the rest were like cartoon characters. I got hungry and walked out! My full review can be found at the following link:

I have not seen the movie yet. We will probably wait and rent it. I( have heard that Oliver Stone did a gret job with the movie. It is so sad that the reporter who played Anne Coulter in the movie was murdered. You wonder if her becoming famous led the killer to rob her house.

Did she die? All the news I saw was that she is in critical condition. This is very sad. It will probably be hard to find out if the crime was motiveted by her association with the movie or if it was a random attack. I hope they catch the
scumbag that did if.
