ATF disrupts plot to assassinate Senator Obama

Federal agents said they disrupted plans to rob a gun store and target a predominantly African-American high school by two neo-Nazi skinheads. Agents said the skinheads did not identify the school by name. i think this is just so pathetic. i cant believe how some people will risk ruining there own life just because there racist and they want to kill all these people. it is just so wrong how crazy people are acting over a presidential election. its good that it was uncovered before it happened because i think if it would have happened it would have just made more people go crazy.

I think it's sad, scary, sick and awful that this crap is still going on in the modrn world, and in the land of the free. What is wrong with some people? Where do they think they get the right to do something so horrible?

Bd, I just wanted to apologize because I also started a discussion on this topic but I swear I didn't even see yours first. I'd just come home and got on the computer when I heard the news so I posted it shortly thereafter. I really wasn't trying to step on your toes, so I just hope you know that. I think this is horrid and terrifying. It just goes to show that for as far as we have come as a nation we still have a long way to go. Good job, ATF, and here's to the Secret Service who do a terrific job and may they continue to do so, for ALL our candidates and leaders! Annie

That's ok. I posted it as soon as I heard, too. It's a shame that there are still rascist out there. I don't understand how they can feel that way. He's a human being, with a family, just like anyone else.

Thank you! I'd never intentionally try to step on anyone's toes. I agree, and it doesn't matter who the person is, all our politicians including those we can't stand and disagree with on everything are still human beings with families and I'd never want any of them to come to any harm by some nutcases. I think this will be happening again sadly but the secret service is to doing a good job protecting the candidates. We all loose when a terrorist takes out one of our leaders
