favorite kind of house

I would prefer an independent house. We currently rent an apartment and I am rather sick of rude neighbors and loud noises. The advantage to a townhouse over an apartment is that you usually only have neighbors on the side. Right now we have two guys who live upstairs and one works during the day with the other one working at night. It seems like there is always someone home and they are always awake...

One that's fully paid for. Really I'd rather have one that's detached than something like a townhouse. I'd rather have a one story house, with a yard, with a bit of a view, with an extra bedroom, lots of storage, easy to clean, built in maid (now I'm fantasizing), pool, jacuzzi...
