I am not one to order things I see on television but this time I took a chance. I didn't order by phone but I ordered via mail order. It is the microwave pasta cooker. It was amazing. It doesn't look like much but let me tell you, it does the job much better than I can. I know your thinking how hard is it to make pasta? but for me it was a chore. On top of the kids nagging me while I'm standing over the stove trying to make sure it is not sticking, I have to worry about it boiling over and being sticky and all that stuff. This time though, I put it in according to the directions, turned the microwave on, and 25 minutes I had perfectly cooked spagetti. No sticking, no boiling over, no gummy pasta, it was just perfect. I have to say, I was impressed. I just wanted to share my find with you guys and tell you how happy I was to have good pasta without all the mess. Oh yea, it has a lid that is a strainer so I didn't even have to break out my big old strainer. One less dish to wash! And I can store my leftovers right in this container! Ok, I'm done...

I feel the same about my rice cooker, I never could cook good rice but this little cooker does a great job, people laugh at me but i see a lot of the cooks on TV use a rice cooker so i guess a pasted cooker would work much the same...

Yea, I was reading the cookbook that came with it and apparently I can steam anything with it too! I'm so excited. I really wanted a rice cooker for steaming other things but now I can do it all and in the microwave at that! I don't think your crazy for loving your rice cooker!!! I think that if we can find little things that make our hectic lives just a little bit easier (and tastier) then go for it! I hold my cooking things very dear! Next on my list is that large table mixer! Those are very expensive though so it may take a bit but I'll get there!

psspurgeon1 that really sounds so neat.I cook a lot of pasta, and I know what you mean about it sticking. I would like to buy one
myself. and to think it has a built in lid that strains , that
is just great. and to think it stores in the fridge, thats alos really neat too.
